A Dead Zone occurs as novel by Stephen King published in 1979.
This tells the story of John Smith, the high school teacher inside a village within Maine who is tragically injured around an car accident that leaves him around the coma for almost 5 years. Despite utilizing his newfound ability to identify & capture the local serial killer, Smith considers his gift the curse & is loaa to let it run, however whilst he touches the unorthodox political candidate Greg Stillson, he understands a vision of an apocalyptical new and then terrible that, fallowing morally struggling by using his conscience, decides he must require steps to end Stillson from either becoming president by hook or by crook necessary.
the inspiration of the story was a real-life Dutch home painter, Peter Hurkos, said to have turn into psychic following of injuries found when falling off the ladder.
